Lawson State highlighted by IEBC for its committment to students

The Institute for Evidence-Based Change recently highlighted Lawson State as a Caring Campus that "empowers faculty and staff with actionable strategies and behavioral practices designed to foster stronger connections with both students and one another."

Lawson is one of the featured campuses on IEBCNow, the institute's blog. Their recent interview with President Dr. Cynthia T. Anthony included a discussion of how every corner of the campus works to support students and create a welcoming atmosphere—even among employees.

"Caring Campus has helped us look at ourselves as an institution, step back, and really embrace where we can do better," Dr. Anthony told IEBC writers. "It'sall about cultivating relationships that will advance student success, and that includes relationships between faculty, staff, and students. Every college could benefit from adopting Caring Campus."
